The pain of losing a child is beyond words—an unimaginable grief that few can truly understand. For Mr. and Mrs. Conway, that unimaginable pain became a heartbreaking reality on July 1, 2025, when their son, AJ was tragically taken at 31 years old, after selflessly helping a friend involved in a domestic violence situation! AJ’s selfless actions, though ending in sorrow, speak volumes about the young man and kind of friend he was—compassionate, generous, and always willing to help any friend in their time of need!

Inspired by Mrs. Conway, the family chose to transform their grief into meaningful action/purpose! AJ was so much more than the heartbreak that took him—He was a cherished son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, grandson, and friend—AJ was deeply loved and treasured by all who knew him!

The Conway’s remained devoted to honoring AJ’s memory by celebrating the light he brought into the lives of so many people—through his infectious joy, love for dancing and singing—especially thru Tik Tok videos- along with his genuine kindness, generous heart, and deep passion for advocating on mental health awareness! Their dedication to honoring AJ’s life inspired the founding of a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, “Move Like AJ, Inc.,” which offers scholarships as a meaningful tribute to his memory and legacy of continuing to help others!
